Although I do not agree with your assessment (I find it awfully simplistic) I am pleased to see you writing on the site again.

Now to your post which I'll only address in the shortest of words since this "poor dad" as you qualified is busy trying to dig his family out of unemployment since the "rich dad's" decided to run their businesses/government into the ground resulting in 6 million of us being out of work. I have been working day and night on building this site and our web series since there are nearly zero jobs out here in California and I can count evenly the amount of sunsets and sunrises I have seen in recent weeks

First off - I only had one dad. I did have a stepfather and in many ways I felt for him while he was alive very similarly to my own father, but in reality I only had one dad. So I don't really support your premise. :) However - it's flawed in that it....I'm gonna stop here for a moment...

I challenge my two conservative bloggers on this site to talk about what you would do, not what you don't like about Obama or some democrat. I offer up space on this site to conservative voices because I want to find some level of understanding between the different political view points in this country and I mean that seriously, however I often only see attacks - which are fine in moderation - it's very very easy to say what you don't like about someone - it is much harder to present what you would like to do.

Scott - what is your solution? And don't just say tax cuts give details and be fair. For example admit that under Republican's the TARP was pushed forward, AIG was bailout as was Wall Street - so be fair. Don't try to win the argument for the sake of winning - earn the win - honestly.

Now to your post - it's flawed - and you know it I'm sure - it's a game I get it - but I hate games when it comes to the lives of innocent people and if I wasn't out of work and really struggling I might see things more your way and enjoy the game myself. But this is real life with real consequences.

You say Obama is anti-business - that's a value judgement on your part isn't it? Prove it but when you prove it list anything pro-business he's done - like some of his incentives for keeping work here in the U.S. or how he wants to take the burden of health care off the backs of business.

You say that the "rich dad's" give more to charity - that's nice - it's easy to give money it's hard to give time. That's a real sacrifice. Obama was a community organizer - he actually went out and helped people. Do you volunteer? I do. What's the stats on volunteerism between the two political ideologies? Do you have that data? I'd be interested in seeing that. The problem with throwing money at something is it doesn't always equal the result - institutions have a way of becoming more important than their original purpose - they become politicized. I don't give to charity really anymore - can't afford it - if I could afford it I would be stingy with who gets my money because I don't always trust large institutions run by organizations that have other motives beyond just feeding the poor or helping those in need.

You say "rich Dad"'s gonna dole out work to we poor folk. Thanks for looking down on us with another value judgement - but taxing a very wealthy 5%'er a few thousand more dollars a year is not going to mean they can't create jobs. You're talking personal income tax - not business tax. And if they don't have to provide health care that's thousands of dollars a month they'll save - so it all evens out - but you'd have to be able to see the forrest for the trees.

Here's the bottom line Scott - you're idea of economics, like anyone anywhere, even myself, is just a THEORY. It is not something divine or natural - it is a man made system that is deeply flawed. because not every rich person gives freely - and not every rich person creates jobs. It's a flawed argument.

And tell me what you want to be done - not what Obama did that you don't like - we see the name "conservative" near your name we assume you don't like most of what he's done so why are you wasting your time with a no-win argument? You see - you won't get anywhere if you just attack - you have to build up.
