I was googling my name as horrible as that sounds and ran across something kinda disturbing concerning the now defunct Ron Paul campaign. It looks as though they have left private information in the public arena. A PDF document called “Precinct Captain’s Walk List & Instructions” lists potential voter’s home addresses and names. At the bottom of each page is this: “Property of Ron Paul 2008 PCC – CONFIDENTIAL” – except this document was clearly not kept confidential. For a campaign that prided itself on it’s online organization it seems rather sloppy to have this document still out in the open.
